Beware the Statin Drugs and Leg Cramps

If you take cholesterol-lowering medication and are suffering leg cramps, it's likely you're suffering a side-effect of the drug.

There are other options to these liver-damaging, nutrient-depriving drugs that won't damage your health.

Check with your doctor for alternatives.

Dear Sir: I am 74, & have tried Lipitor, Zocor,Crestor, Pravastatin & now on Livalo (which is stronger than Pravastatin. Problems with all except Pravastatin which was OK WITH Q-Co-10, (0ver the counter) The rest gave me leg cramps so bad, I was crawling on the floor crying to husband for help. Someone told me use regular old yellow hotdog mustard. Took 1 tablespoon, and in 3 min. cramps were gone. I promise this works. m.h., Bartlett, TN.
